St. Johnsbury, VT These cars are all special, but this one represents the 1st year since 1972 that GM had offered an SS Camaro! This is a 2010 Camaro trade in that we obtained from the Chevy dealer, and was only driven a few thousand miles in the last 5 years. Always garaged, never driven in the snow, and obviously very well taken care of. These cars were all numbered, and were very limited production. This particular car is # 1553 out of about 2200 total that ever built in 1996. I'd rate this car as an 8 1/2 on a 10 scale. There are a few light stone chips on the leading edge of the hood, and some spider cracks in the paint on the top of the rear bumper cover. . . . barely noticeable unless you really look. . . . typical stuff on a black car. The factory radio was replaced at some point with an aftermarket CD player and the installation looksprofessionally done. We do have a stellar Carfax available on this car, which verifies mileage to be correct, and no accidentor damage history. The following is a quote from a Camaro site that explains a little more about the SLP Conversion: "After a 24 year absence the Camaro SS returns as a limited production car built by SLP under contract to GM. Rated at 315 hp w/optional exhaust, compared to 285 hp (Due to 2-cats) of the Z28, it features a distinctive "ram-air" hood scoop, SS badging (replacing the Z28s), and 17" wheels with 275/40ZR17 tires, plus the 1LE suspension, except with DeCarbon shocks using different valving from the stock shocks.
