For Sale is a 2001 Camaro SS Convertible with 31k miles. I purchased this car in July 2006 from a local dealer. It had 28,300 miles when I purchased it three years ago and it has approximately 31k miles now. It has been garage kept since purchased and I never drove it in the rain or winter months. This is strictly a weekend cruiser! I would like to restore a classic camaro, so this one must go (as much as I would love to have both!!!). I purchased new 17" Torque Thrust graphite colored rims last year and they really look great! I recently painted the front brake calipers and brackets and installed new brake pads all around. I have installed an SLP mass air flow sensor and cold air induction package to provide more air to the LS1 (more HP!). There is a retractable front license plate bracket installed on the car. Missouri requires a front plate, but I have never liked the looks of one on this car, so when I'm driving, the plate is up and when I'm at shows, the plate is down! The high performance exhaust system was on the car when I bought it, but it was a great add on! The 3" tips coming out of the back look awesome and it has a deep rumble that sounds great! The engine bay is VERY clean and looks new!
The car has a current Missouri State inspection and emmissions test. It has the normal paint chips and scratches expected with an 8 year old car, particularly under the front spoiler where it looks like a previous driver ran over a curb. There is a small dent under the drivers side rocker panel that is not noticable unless you're laying on the ground looking for it. Overall, I'd rate the paint a 9 out of 10. The drivers side window is slow going up, but still works. It may need looked at sometime down the road. There are no other issues with the car. The tires have good treads. The black convertible top is in perfect condition and is regularly treated with "Rag Top" protectant. AC works perfectly and is super cold. Leather seats are nice and show only minor wear. It runs awesome and has been babied since the day I bought it in 2006. I just want to accurately represent the car for the next potential owner. I recommend viewing the car in person if there are any concerns. Once you see the car up close, I believe you will be convinced that this is an excellent car! |
