This is a find. I bought the car at O’Connor Motors in Augusta, Maine in 2005 with 7570 miles on it. The car had been ordered by Dick O’Connor for a friend to have as a collector car with 2001 being the last year for the 4th generation Camaro. Unfortunately the friend passed away and his wife brought it back to O’Connors to be sold.
This is fully loaded including, to name a few, SLP stainless steel exhaust (which sounds incredible), 6 speed shifter, Hendricks Motorsports Ground Effects, hood spoiler, trunk access, daytime running lights, CD changer, T-Top, quad seating leather interior, power windows, door locks, cruise control, and ICE COLD air conditioning. The upgrades have produced about 345 horsepower at 375 torque. Have the dyno chart.
The only negative is a chunk in rear passenger side rim. Not sure how this happened, but it's possible that 'someone', who could not drive a standard and should not have been taking lessons in this car, hit a curb with the front tire, got the tire repaired and moved the rim to the rear.
This car handles like new, looks new, even smells new and it goes as fast as it sounds.
