Car Notes
2008.09.5 Ebay

Valparaiso, IN, United States

Thank you for looking at my 2000 Chevy Camaro SS. I had this car for a year now and it has been a good car. I really did not drive the car a lot. I have put lots of money making the car how I want it and now I have to sell the car. I love this car very much and I hope that it goes to a good home. I have records of all most everything that I bought. First this car is a fun car to drive it turns heads everywhere I go. The car has been garage kept since I had it and the previous owner before me. I will say that this car is very fast for what it is. On the dyno it put down 376 rwhp and 373 rwtq. Yes not at the engine, rwhp! I have almost 4000 into the car in parts. I will list all the problems first then I will get to the good stuff. First, the headlights were painted by the previous owner so they could use to be replaced but you dont have to. The body is not perfect but how many 8 year old cars are? The front bumber has rock chips nothing to bad "its normal for this car". The drivers door has scratch in it see pic. The passenger side rear has a dent about a inch wide see pic. The service light is ON due because it has no cats on it and yes it will not pass emissions right now about 100 would fix that problem. I did not put the new speakers in it but I will include the speakers because at the time I bought the car I did not know it did not have front door speakers. And the carpet is dirty but not bad. On to the good stuff. First off the car has some great mods and with a new set of heads and intake the car would be over 450 rwhp! The car has a mild cam by today standards of small, its a texas speed 228R with 588 lift. The springs, lifters, and rockers were replaced and of course all new gaskets were used. It does have a slp air lid. It also has Hooker Long Tube headers "painted kind". It has a a ported Throttle body but I have a BBK 80MM TB that will go with the car. The tires all have less than 500 miles on them. The rear tires are Drag radials for added traction. New sway bars bushings for better traction. I put a new GM battery in it a week ago because it was sitting. I put a new clucth in, its called a Z06 clutch it comes out of a new Z06. It can hold over 500 hp and graps very well. While I replaced the clucth I replaced the slave Cyc. And last I had the trans rebuilt by Tick Performance it can handle over 700 rwhp. I just bought SLP exhaust for the car and it will be put on before the car is sold. The trans and clucth have less than 50 miles on them and the rest of the parts have less than 1000 miles on them. I built this car to handle 500 rwhp and still be very driveable.
