You are bidding on a 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28-SS with only 15,386 miles on it. I am the second owner of the car and purchase it in 2003. In that time I have put approximately 3,000 miles on it. This car is # 84 made of about 1,000 in 1996 and this was the first year the SS package was available in the fourth generation body style and it is plated in the car right below the gear shift. It was sent off the SLP where they added the functional ram air hood, upgraded air intake, performance, exhaust, racing suspension, and 17 inch 5 spoke wheels which came along with high performance brakes. It also has the upgraded SS interior. The seats are black cloth with the middle strip of each seat colored red. The interior is in perfect shape and looks awesome! The original Bose speakers are still in the car and sound great. I have replaced the radio with a Kenwood deck and have added a 1,500 watt Rockford Fosgate Amp along with 2 Kicker CVR 12 inch subwoofers that are placed in a custom made box to fit in the trunk. The sound system is amazing. I still have the stock radio to go along with the car. I have also added an electric exhaust cutout that adds another 10 horse power when opened up. The only time I have used this is when I ran the car in the quarter mile at the track. The cutout opens up right under the passenger seat and bypasses the muffler system. (Very Loud When Opened Up) The performance exhaust that is already on it sounds awesome. I also put new tires on the car when I purcahsed it (Goodyear Eagle F1's) so the tires are basically brand new. This car is absolutely perfect with the exception of one minor flaw in which I bought it with. The previous owner slammed the hood which is fiberglass shut and there is about a one inch long crack underneath the ram air intake and another smaller one about 6 inches under the first crack. These hoods need to be closed gently. These cracks are hardly noticeable and I have provided pictures of each. The one pic you really need to look hard to see (Don't mistake the space between the hood and the front end for the crack). Also, the seats are not faded that is just the way the sun is hitting them. The car is absolutely beautiful and turns a lot of heads. This car has been good to me and looks almost perfect with the exception of the small cracks on the hood. |
