Tuscon, AZ Mileage: 128,000 Selling Price: $12,250 This 2001 Pontiac Firebird Formula SLP Firehawk has been modified with a Fays2 Watts link rear suspension system, a UMI Performance shock tower brace and subframe connectors, aftermarket cylinder heads, a custom camshaft, a Fuel Air Spark Technology throttle body and intake, and Corvette Z06 clutch components. The car is finished in Bright Red over Ebony leather and is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and an Auburn limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes removable T-top roof panels, 17″ polished five-spoke aluminum wheels, a decklid spoiler, pop-up headlights, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, remote keyless entry, air conditioning, cruise control, and performance enhancements from SLP Engineering that include a cold air induction composite hood with heat extractors, a stainless steel exhaust system, and a revised suspension. The seller purchased the car in 2010 and has since added approximately 33k of the 128k miles. This Firebird is offered at no reserve with a car cover and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Bright Red and was repainted in 2023, at which time the sail panel was replaced. Features include removable T-top roof panels, pop-up headlights, fog lights, and a decklid spoiler. A May 2003 entry on the Carfax report includes “structural damage reported” and “damage to rear” notations. |
