Car Notes |
2007.11.11 Ebay
Hilliard, OH, United States
Up for auction is my rare 1 of 55 Red Automatic 1996 WS6 Formula
I have owned this car for roughly one year now and I really do not want to sell it. I am a 4th year college student at OSU and I need to start saving up some money for things, and can no longer afford to pay for the gas or insurance on this car.
The car has not been driven in snow, basically I have driven it just from where I live to OSU and back daily, as well as around columbus. I also drove it to Canada a few months ago and at 70 Mph on cruise control the car got about 22 mpg.
This WS6 has no aftermarket parts on it. I am selling it just the way I bought it 1 year ago. It has never given me any mechanical problems what so ever, the engine still runs strong and I have been changing oil on a regular basis. This car has the 310HP LT1 engine, and is very fast. I have only used 92+ Octane gasoline in this car.
Impefections: Please take a moment to read through the small imperfections so there are no surprises when the car is picked up.
Being an 11 year old car, it has some minor imperfections (ones that I just dont have the time to fix myself or don't have extra cash to fix at the moment).
-Body is in good shape, just a few small knicks, not even noticeable from a distance. The biggest flaw with the body is a thin crack on the drivers side front fender (shown in the photo). Also some lady opened her car door into the passenger side mirror and there is a little paint blurr there, should be very easy to fix (also shown in picture).
-Drivers tail light is out and the drivers front flip-up light makes a buzzing sound when it flips down into the hood for a couple seconds (made this sound ever since I bought it..not a big deal I never bothered messing with it) these are common problems with these cars, I used to own a v6 firebird which had several of the same electrical issues this car does. Also the windows: passenger window does not go down, and driver window works but is slower than normal.
-There is a small squeaking sound when backing out of driveway (95% sure its something rubbing the body or something that needs a little grease on it).
-The car is going to need new tires pretty soon. The ones on it now are I believe one size wider than the stock tires (this is how I bought it).
Again, I just dont have the time or money to fix these things...
Car is being sold as is. If I find anything else I forgot to list I will update the listing ASAP. Please come look at the car/test drive it before buying. Serious bidders ONLY. $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction ending is required.
UPDATE: Forgot to mention the car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. |
