I would like to disclose all information I know about this car, that way you know your getting the truth and that way, I dont get any complants. Im a busy college student that needed a car with better gas millege for my daily round trip commute to boston (100 miles) which is why I am selling the Camaro, It will be missed. I bought this car last winter from a dealer in rehobeth, Mass. It had 159,000 miles on it but dealer told me that the engine was replaced and had around 40,000 miles on it. So if the dealer was telling the truth, the engine should have around 50,000 miles on it. I am more than willing to check any numbers or codes on the car for anywone that interested. The car drives great, and runs real strong. Very powerfull and quick car, I had it on the dyno at New England dyno, and it made close to 270 hp at the wheels. This is the ss model which means it has the fully function ram air hood, premium star wheels, and 30th anniversary embrodery on the seats. Ir also has removable glass t-tops that dont leak. It has a k&n air filter and flow master exhaust and seems like a shiftkit or the shifting was changed electronically because you really get thrown back in the seat when on the throttle. It seems that just about everything on the car has been replaced, I found all the receipts in the glove box. Since I've owned it I had a new water pump put in, two new hoses, and new fan relay put in. If i was goin to keep the car I would probly put in a fan switch because it seems like the fans dont kick on early enough for me. Things to know: (every little detail) -rip on edge of drivers side seat -couple cigarette burns on seat from previous owner -paint crack on front bumber -air conditioning cool but not ice cold -missing radio knob -ripp on fold drivers side fold down mirror -may be small leak in tail pipe but passes inspection -tires about 70% worn -loose ash tray lid -door control panel not screwed in all the way -Air conditoner makes noise under hood (not bad) |
