Mickleton, New Jersey, United States 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible. Pristine condition. 10,468 original, documented miles. Collector/Investment/Show Quality. 330 horsepower 5.7 liter LS1 V-8 engine with forced air induction; 6-speed Borg Warner T-56 manual gearbox with factory Hurst short throw shifter; original 17x 9" ZR-1 chrome aluminum wheels with 275/40-17 Z rated Goodyear Eagle F-1 tires. Stunning Pewter Metallic finish with black leather interior and black top. There were just 802 Camaro SS Convertibles built in 2000 with the 6-speed transmission. Of those, just 154 came in Pewter Metallic. This is a highly optioned vehicle and includes: power top, windows, locks, seat; cruise control; tilt steering wheel; factory installed 500 watt 8 speaker sound system with 12 disk cd changer and cassette; air conditioning. I have included scans of both the original Chevrolet window sticker and SLP Engineering window sticker for your review. (SLP is the company that took the standard Camaro Z-28 and turned it into the supercar known as the Camaro SS). Both of these documents have been laminated in plastic and are, of course, included in the sale, along with the original owner's manual. Note that the sale price was over $37,000. I purchased the vehicle on May 28, 2004 at Reedman Chevrolet (now known as Reedman Toll Chevrolet) in Langhorne, PA with 8,076 miles. The vehicle was personally owned by the General Manager of the dealership who purchased it brand new and rarely drove it. To my knowledge, it has never been driven in inclement weather. It has been kept safely in a garage under a custom fitted "Camaro SS" cover, which is included. The vehicle is exactly as it was delivered from Chevrolet with the exception of an upgrade to a high flow SLP exhaust system. The standard SLP exhaust system was nearly silent and was not befitting of such a sporting car. Directly from SLP, I purchased an upgraded stainless steel high flow cat back system that looks and fits like the original, but sounds wonderful. Not loud, but a very pleasing, mild throaty growl that makes the car even more of a thrill to drive than it already was. The system is produced by SLP (the people that built the car after all), thus I consider the vehicle to be 100% correct. I will provide/include the standard SLP exhaust system if the buyer wishes to have it. This vehicle has been lovingly kept in pristine condition by true car lovers and while it's performance capabilities are amazing (top speed of these cars is 155 miles per hour), it has always been adult owned and driven with care. I am pained to part with her, but with a family, kids, house, a full time career, and other pursuits, something has to give and unfortunately that means the sale of my Camaro SS. I have included photos taken from every possible angle (pardon my footprints on the driveway in the photos - the grass was wet). I have tried to capture every body panel and detail. The photos speak for themselves. There are NO ISSUES of any kind with the vehicle, mechanically or otherwise. For all intents and purposes it has remained in a time capsule for the past 7 years. I have set a very reasonable reserve to inspire bidding. Please do not bid unless you are able to follow through with payment. If you are out to scam someone, move on to the next auction. I hold clear title, which is safely in a safe deposit box. The vehicle is safely in my garage. Neither will leave my possession until full payment is received and verified. I am an honest and fair e-bayer and will not tolerate any questionable activity (and neither should you). I invite you to review my record of perfect feedback. A deposit of $300 must be made via Paypal within 3 days of the close of the auction. The balance will be accepted via wire transfer (preferred) or certified cashiers check and must be paid within 7 days of the close of the auction. Payment MUST come from a domestic bank. I WILL NOT accept payment from any bank that is not located in the United States. If payment is made via certified cashiers check, the vehicle and title will not be released until the issuing bank has been contacted and the funds have cleared. (Wire transfer will result in a much faster transaction.) A valid driver's license must be provided before the vehicle or title will be released.
