Car Notes |
Not a Camaro SS (WU8)
2007.07.13 ebay
El Paso, Texas
For sale is a 1998 Camaro SS,LS1 V8 (5.7L) with 6-speed manual tranmission. This car started it's life as a Z28, but has been converted to an SS. This car has 132k miles, but it runs GREAT. The engine (LS1) pulls hard, and manual transmission and rear-end feel great. This car is a blast to drive. This would either make a nice street car or a great drag racing project. LS1 f-bodies are becoming very sought after, and very difficult to find, especially in this area. You will not be disappointed with this vehicle.
Features:
T-tops
Grey leather interior
Fancy aftermarket CD player and sound system (I don't know much about car stereos)
LS1 6-speed
Power seats (driver and passenger)
Power windows
Power locks
Power mirrors
Rear defroster
Cruise Control
Tilt Wheel
Power trunk release
Keyless entry
A/C blows ice cold
Fuel pump and clutch replaced 4 months ago (have receipts)
No leaks
Modifcations:
Longtube headers
off-road y-pipe
aftermarket exhaust (unknown brand)
air intake lid
Eibach sportline lowering springs
Berger rear panel
Manta hood
Problems:
ABS light is on (I haven't researched it)
Gauge cluster works fine, but the 'clear coat' on the gauges is peeling
Passenger window motor is slow (happens to all f-bodies and can be fixed)
Tires will need to be replaced soon
Tripometer button is missing |
